This November 2012 APEC Plans entered into a payment facility agreement with Cebuana Lhuillier Pawnshops (CLP) which allows planholders to make their APEC Plan payments at any of the more than 1,500 CLP branches nationwide.
Only subsequent payments are accepted (first payments are not accepted because this payment facility does not cover documents handling) and only cash payments are accepted.
There is no need to bring a billing statement; all the planholder needs is their 8-digit APEC policy number.
Planholders simply visit any CLP branch, fill out the CLP “Pera Padala” form and submit it only to CLP branch personnel. The following information is required on the form:
1. Complete name of Payor
2. Full payment amount
3. 8-digit APEC Policy Number
Planholder’s contact number is optional but highly recommended.
Branch personnel will validate the transaction slip first then ask for the payment. Payor then gives their cash payment, the branch personnel accepts payment, gives the Payor an acknowledgement receipt and gives change if applicable.
